Those who do not have basic understanding of the csdp plus servo Drive need to receive the product education provided by the before using the product. The purpose of the manual This manual explains the installation, configuration, operation, malfunction assessment troubleshooting measures, and maintenance and repair of the csdp Plus Servo drive. the necessary wiring diagram and other installation guidelines are provided Symbols and Notations The following symbols and notations are used in this manual Bullet points are used to provide multiple kinds of information They are not used for sequential procedures Numbers are used to provide sequential procedures or hierarchical information Safety Notice Please read and understand the user s manual before the installation and operation Please be well aware of and abide by the following safety notices for the safety and protection of yourself and your ealth Use ATTENTION Do not touch the inside of the servo drive Make sure that the servo drive and the motor are fully grounded Start handling the drive after it is fully discharged after the power shut-off. Do not put excessive stress on the motor power and encoder cable Never touch the revolving part of the motor during operation WARNING Avoid using the product near wet places or corrosive and inflammable materials A Operate the system with no load during pilot operation Be careful with the heatsink of the drive as it generates tense heat St orage WARNING Do not store the product near wet places, rain toxic gas or fluid Avoid the direct rays and keep the product within the range of keeping temperature and humidity Avoid the overload when the products are loaded and kept Transportation WARNING Do not carry the product by holding the cable and the motor shaft Installation and wiring WARNING Consider the ambient temperature in the heat-radiating design to prevent the system from being damaged by overheat. ( See "Installation"in Chapter 2) Make sure cables are not installed around the heatsink of the servo drive since it generates intense heat during operation ATTENTION Maintain the minimum distance (10 mm)while installing multiple number of drives in order to prevent the noise effects and the temperature rise Prepare for the noises fully while installing wires (See "Installation"in Chapter 2) Maintenance and repair Do not disassemble or remodel the product. the defect WARNING caused after the user disassem bled or remodeled the product will be excluded from the company's warranty The company bears no responsibility for all the injuries or physical damage caused by the remodeled product Periodical assessment is required for the parts that have limited life because of mechanical friction or degradation See Troubleshooting"in Chapter 7 Please manage and control the product by referring to the manual In case of a failure that cannot be dealt with, please contact the company' s technical support team or after-sales service center 9 70
