During the start time, the thyristor will reduce the motor current. The completion of motor startup is determined by detecting terminal voltage to limit the current at startup. During stable the convergence of the current as the speed of the motor increases operation, the built-in bypass relay will be ON The soft starter operation is then changed to stable operation. The start time given here is a guideline for when the total load current set The current limit can be set to 150%, 250% 300%, or 350% of the on the overload FLa setting dial and the actual load current are the Full-load current. The start time can be set to 2s.5s. 10s. or 15s same. f the motor load is smaller the motor will start faster. so that actual start time will be shorter than the start time given here Direct input Current limit start when set to 350%6 of total load current Start time Stable Description of Functions Overload protection Phase loss The G3JA-D is equipped with overload protection The overload The G3JA-D monitors phase loss. If phase loss lasts for two power the rated full-load current of the motor through the overload FLg e5 class can be set to off10. 15. or 20. Either automatic or manua supply frequency cycles, the G3JA-D turns OFF the output, indicates mode can be used to reset an overload (trip). Set the trip current to the phase loss with a flashing led indicator and closes the alarm contact setting dial. When an overload fault occurs, the G3JA-D indicates the overload with a flashing LED indicator and closes the alarm contact. Current Imbalance Overtemperature The G3JA-D monitors the phase current imbalance. If the imbalance exceeds the preset limit, the G3JA-D turns OFF the output, indicates The G3JA-D monitors SCR temperature through an internal the current imbalance with a flashing led indicator and closes the thermistor.
