详细说明:The Tenth Structural Engineering Convention 2016 (SEC-2016) was organized by CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre jointly with IIT Madras and Anna University, Chennai, during 21–23 December 2016 at CSIR-SERC, Chennai, India. SEC-2016 provided a common platform for professional structural engineers, academicians and researchers in the broad fields of engineering mechanics and structural engineering to exchange ideas for enriching the research and development activities in the area of structural engineering.Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering (LNCE) publishes the latest developments il Civil Engineering-quickly, informally and in top quality. Though original research reported in proceedings and post-proceedings represents the core of LNce, edited volumes of exceptionally high quality and interest may also be considered for publication. Volumes published in LNCE embrace all aspects and subfields of, as well as new challenges in, Civil Engineering. Topics in the series include Construction and structural mechanics Building materials Concrete. Steel and Timber Structures Geotechnical Engineering Earthquake Engineering Coastal Engineering Hydraulics, Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering Environmental Engineering and Sustainability Structural Health and Monitoring Surveying and geographical Information Systems Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Transportation and traffic Risk analysis Safety and security To submit a proposal or request further information, please contact the appropriate Springer editor: Mr.PierpaoloRivaatpierpaolo.rivaspringer.com(EuropeandAmericas) Ms.SwatiMeherishiatswatimeherishispringer.com(iNdia) MSLiShenatlishenspringer.com(China) Dr.LoyolaD'Silvaatloyola.dsilvaspringer.com(SoutheastAsiaand Australia/NZ Moreinformationaboutthisseriesathttp://www.springercom/series/15087 A. This volume (Volume 1)contains 92 contributions in the following parts Part I Analysis and Design of Concrete Structures Part I Analysis and Design of Steel Structures Part II Computational Structural mechanics Part Iv New Building Materials for Sustainable Construction Part v Mitigation of Structures against Natural hazards Part vi Structural Health monitoring We believe that the collection of papers included in this volume will contribute to scientific developments in the field of structural engineering in a global sense and will be a useful reference work for the academicians researchers and also most Preface importantly the student community pursuing research in the area of structural engineering The success of the conference. SEC-2016. was due to the collective efforts of a large number of individuals, members of the various organizing committees and sponsors. We should take this opportunity to thank all of them for making SEC-2016 a great success. We would like to especially thank all the reviewers, the majority of them from CSIR-SERC who have spent their quality time for reviewing more than five hundred papers received Chennai. India A.
